First things first - The times of the marathon runners (big and small) were online today and Robert did really really well - he ran the 4.482 km in 27:57 minutes. He was 2nd in his class and 29th in his age group. And it looks like he was 111th out of 400 runners between the ages of 7 - 15! If that is how well he can do without training, what could he do with!!
Today was another busy day, but I did get everything done in the right order. This morning was laundry day, washing and ironing. Not very exciting but quite satisfying when you are all caught up for the week at the end of the morning.
It was just Richard and me for lunch. Robert was at a friends for lunch and the afternoon. I had organised that yesterday to give me time to take Richard to the doctors. His tummy ache, which has never really gone completely away, has been bad this last week, so it is time to get to the bottom of the trouble. The doctor took lots of time for us, asking Richard all sorts of questions about the tummy ache, about school, about his friends trying to find a reason for the pain. He was in a good mood and was very talkative, so she was able to rule out stress from school or such. So now we are going to start and try and determine if it is perhaps a food allergy, starting with milk. So for the rest of the week, no more milk or milk products i.e. cheese or yoghurt. We should (if it is this allergy) see an improvement in the tummy ache by the weekend and then at the weekend he will have to drink a whole glass of milk and then we will see if the tummy ache comes back or gets worse. So until then it is wait and see!
This evening Richard had another football match - he was in goal again, and did his job very well. You see THIS is what a winning team looks like!
They won 2:0 against Poppenhausen - a team which they lost against last time they played them 19:0 - looks like they have improved immensely!
CU tomorrow

They have a new goalie. Well done boys.
Yay! you had a proud mom day! Both boys done very well! :)
Oh my, you'll have your hands full! First no apples, now no milk? Don't know what to hope for, would be great if the tummy ache is gone of course, but no milk sounds like a difficult diet...
Good luck!
